God And The Nature Of Man
0
Do you wonder why you act badly sometimes, no matter how much you try not to? Perhaps your friend shocked you by his wicked actions and you are yet to relate it to what you thought you knew about him. The wicked nature of man knows no bounds and can always spring up surprises. Who can help?
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? – Jeremiah 17:9
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: – Deuteronomy 30:19
Man is naturally selfish and greedy. He does everything to benefit himself immediately or in the long run. He will do good or bad things if it will in anyway satisfy him, even if it is momentarily. Wickedness destroys not only the victim but also the perpetrator.
Man will tell lies on his colleague in search of a promotion. He will break up families just to satisfy his sexual desires. He will push for abortion to avoid commitment. Furthermore, man will kill for power and/or wealth. The list can go on and on. Who can help this wicked nature of man?
Some people are morally good. But their natural way of life comes up when they are forced to make a choice between pleasing themselves or another person. It takes inner strength and maturity to be able to please another instead of self.
“Nature, Mr Allnut, is what we are put into this world to rise above.” says Rose in the classic movie ‘The African Queen’. This wicked nature of man came after the fall of man in the Garden of Eden. Now, every day we are faced with choices to make: to rise above this nature or not. You choose either to love or hate, to show respect or disrespect, to be honest or dishonest, to be patient or impatient, to forgive or not, etc. (more…)
Tools For Securing Supernatural Intervention
0What can one use to secure supernatural intervention? Human beings are limited and are constantly searching for ways to become unlimited in life. This world is full of challenges, many of which are beyond what you and I can handle even if we try. But there is a higher power that we can connect to and these challenges will become walk-overs.
“And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten” – 2 Chronicles 20:22 (KJV)
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony…” –Revelations 12:11 (KJV)
God is the supreme source of intervention. His power supersedes every other power. He manifests this power on men through His son Jesus Christ.
As much as God desires to always come to our aid, we often limit Him by the environment we create around us. We create this repulsive environment with our wrong choices of words and actions. Conducive environment for God is created with two powerful tools, namely: praise and testimonies.
God inhabits the praises of His people. Singing praises unto God attracts Him anytime and anywhere. Praise creates a joyful environment. And when you are joyful, your sensitivity is enhanced. You will be sensitive enough to pick the wisdom words from God for victory over the challenge at hand.
Praise takes your mind off the problem and focuses it on God, the source of supernatural intervention. It recounts God’s power, greatness and ability. God’s name is exalted when we praise Him. This gladdens God and provokes His intervention. (more…)

Faith For Victory Today
2Everybody exercises faith at different levels, on different occasions and in different things. What you have faith in determines what answer or result you get. There is hierarchy in powers and authority. To command victory today, you need to exercise faith in the highest authority.
And Jesus, replying, said to them, Have faith in God [constantly] – Mark 11:22 (AMP). And his name through faith in his (Jesus, emphasis mine) name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all – Acts 3:16 (KJV). That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God – I Corinthians 2:5 (KJV)
Challenges and chaos in the world have provoked people to seek for higher powers and authority. Unfortunately, there are many options that end up confusing some people. Many people believe in so many things in order to get solutions to their problems. But they are only getting into more troubles. Most of them are in despair presently.
Faith in God (God the father, God the son and God the Holy Spirit) commands victory today. God will forever remain the highest authority. God is faithful. If He has said a thing, He is bound to perform it. He is not a man that He should lie, neither is He a son of man that He should change His mind.
God sticks to His word. He can never be drawn into any situation that will make Him break His word. God stands by His word to fulfill it. He gives priority to the fulfilment of His word. Exercise faith in God and your victory today is assured. (more…)
Missing Touch That Makes All The Difference
0Have you ever imagined why people put in a lot of effort, energy, time and money, and still get little or no success life? Surely there is a missing touch (breath of life) that must be put in place before success can be established. This article tells what will make all the difference in all endeavours.
And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them. Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army – Ezekiel 37:8-10
All the bones gathered together, the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them. They looked like real human beings lying down, but that was all. There was no life. They could achieve nothing. They couldn’t boast of success in life. They were purely dead until the missing touch came on the scene.
The breath of life (also called Spirit of life) makes all the difference. Without Him, all efforts will amount to nothing. God’s effort would have been wasted when He made Adam, if breath hadn’t come on him. Where there is no life, there is no success story.
You may have done so much in preparation for success life this year, my question is, “is the breath of life upon all the preparations?” Have you called on the Spirit of life to breathe upon your efforts? The Spirit of God makes all the difference. If God needed Him in creation, we need Him more. (more…)
