Are you done with or on the way to the fulfillment of the prophecies over your life, or have you given up? The fulfillment of God’s word in your life depends on your faith and your covenant walk with Him. God is a covenant keeping God and will not fail on His part. Therefore, there is need for you to reflect on the past months and examine whether you are on course or not.

Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified – II Corinthians 13:5 (NKJV).

I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus – Philippians 3:14 (NKJV).

At the beginning of the year, you had a list of things you desired God to fulfill in your life, including prophecies you heard or read from God and His word. You started off with great expectation and assurance of the fulfillment of them all. How far have you gone with them?

Every prophecy from the Lord is to be fulfilled. His word will not go back to Him without accomplishing what He sent it to do (Isaiah 55:11). Also, what He says He does (Numbers 23:19). So, if a prophecy is not fulfilled, the problem is not from God for He is a covenant keeping God (Psalm 89:34) and He watches over His words to fulfill them (Jeremiah 1:12).

Are they fulfilled?

If the prophecies are fulfilled already, I rejoice with you. Your testimonies shall lead to the testimonies of many others. This act of God must have increased your faith in Him. As such I encourage you to take a leap of faith and reach out for more from God; a request in faith surely gets the Lord’s attention.

Are you tired?

Peradventure, it seems as if this word of God is taking time in being fulfilled and you are growing weary, I encourage you to hold on to the Father and His word. Be strong in the Lord not in your might (Ephesians 6:10), don’t lean on your own understanding of how it will be fulfilled (Proverbs 3:5). Has God said it? He will surely do it, only have faith till you receive the promise. Sincerely examine your thoughts, words and actions. Are they in line with what you believe and expect? Are you saying one thing and doing another? Are you reading, watching and hearing one thing and expecting another thing. What you sow is what you reap. Honestly examine yourself and make amends, and do remember to lean on God. It is neither by your might nor power but by the Spirit of the Lord (Zechariah 4:6). Furthermore, you have need of patience that after you have done the will of God, you might obtain the promise (Hebrews 10:36). Remember, Abraham and Joseph, the Father promised them blessings, it took a while but God fulfilled the promises in their lives. Yours will not be an exception. Therefore, I urge you to press on for the battle has been decided in your favour.

Have you given up?

This is not the best for you. When you give up you are saying you are not qualified to receive the promise or you consider God incapable of fulfilling His word. Whichever it may be, it is a lie from the devil and a plot to steal from you (John 10:10). Don’t settle as a mediocrity when you are ordained for the top. Fight the good fight of faith (1 Timothy 6:12) and take delivery of what rightfully belongs to you in Christ. You are not born of them that quit but them that endure to the end. Winners never quit! Be encouraged and pick up again.

It’s not late

No matter what the case may be, there is still time to achieve your heart desires and for the prophecies to be fulfilled in your life this year. Only be courageous and strong in the Lord, follow the instructions of God, trust in Him and He will cause you to laugh.

Jesus is Lord!
