Go For Light

Are you faced with a challenge that you don’t know how to solve? Every problem has a solution and every question has an answer. Your creator has envisaged every challenge that you will ever have in life and has written out the solutions to them in His manual called the bible. Therefore, it is left for you to search the manual for the solutions to the challenge. This post emphasizes the need to go for light in God’s word that will help you overcome the challenges in your life.

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path – Psalms 119:105 (NKJV).

And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it – John 1:5 (NKJV)

Every challenge or problem in your life is darkness and will be destroyed by light any time, any day and anywhere. Darkness can never stop light from overcoming it. Any time you shine light in darkness, it always gives way to the light (John 1:5). The brighter the light the further darkness gives way to light. Darkness can only bow to light, not to your crying, shouting, murmuring or complaining.

Light shows you where to put your feet and shows you what your path looks like (Psalm 119:105), thereby helping you to make the right decisions concerning the path before you. It informs you on whether to continue on that path or not, and if you are to continue the places to step on. Light helps you not to stumble on the way (Proverbs 3:23) and helps you to see the details you wouldn’t see without it.  It also shows you the things on your way that will help you tackle the problems that you meet there.

The word of God is light that has the capacity to scatter any darkness in your life. The light you need to overcome that challenge in your life is in the word of God. You only need to search it out, it is there! Mike Murdock said that every problem in life is wisdom problem, as such all you need is the wisdom for that challenge you are faced with now. The word of God is a bank of wisdom seeds.   Locate the wisdom seeds you need, apply it to that darkness and the light in the wisdom seeds will overcome the darkness and you will be free (Proverbs 4:10-12).

The word of God does not only light up your path, it also lights you. When the word of God goes into you, it lights you up (Isaiah 9:8). Therefore, the more of God’s word in you, the brighter you shine and the brighter your path (Proverbs 4:18). This also means that darkness will be far from you, and will start encroaching again when your light starts to get dim.

In conclusion, light is master to darkness any time. Therefore, go for light; let it light you and your path up and your life will be full of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost (Romans 14:17).
