Hi, Jesus loves you.
One word of Christ is more than years of toiling. Christ’s word is all you need for a quick turnaround. But how do you trigger His words for a change? This article gives you how to trigger the words of the Lord for a speedy turnaround.
Then He got into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, and asked him to put out a little from the land. And He sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat. When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.” – Luke 5:3-4 (NKJV)
And he said to him, “Say now to her, ‘Look, you have been concerned for us with all this care. What can I do for you? Do you want me to speak on your behalf to the king or to the commander of the army? – 2 Kings 4:13 (NKJV)
For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister – Hebrews 10:6 (NKJV)
You may have been toiling for a long time and you seem to be going nowhere. The good news is that Jesus has a word that will turn the situation around. But the challenge is how to trigger the words of Christ for a quick turnaround.
Simply put – let Christ use what you have.
When you avail yourself or what you have for the kingdom of God, God is provoked to release a blessing on you through His words. God is not a user but a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him- Hebrews 11:6. There is nothing you do for the promotion of God’s kingdom that ever goes unnoticed. Every seed sown in the name of Christ must bear bountiful harvest.
Peter in Luke 5:1-11, triggered the word of Christ for a quick turnaround when he made his boat available for Jesus to sit in and teach the multitude. He had toiled all night and caught no fish. But when Jesus finished teaching and released His word, Peter had a net breaking and boat sinking catch.
Also, in 2 Kings 4:8-17, the Shunammite woman triggered God’s word via His servant Elisha when she made available her house, money and food for the man of God. Though she was rich and influential, she had no child. Her generous hospitality provoked the word of the Lord from Elisha, “About this time next year you shall embrace a son”, which she did at the appointed time.
Furthermore, in Acts 10, the scriptures record the account of Cornelius, the centurion; how he gave alms generously to people and prayed always, and how he heard the word of God telling him that those actions have come before Him as a memorial.
Cornelius was instructed to send for Peter who was to tell him what he must do. When he obeyed and sent for Peter, his household received salvation, which had more eternal value than the alms and prayers that came only as a memorial before God.
In our contemporary time, there are many testimonies of people who gave their houses for cell fellowships, vehicles to transport people to church or for the promotion of the gospel, their lands and properties for the kingdom work, and their time, energy and money for the propagation of the gospel of Christ, etc., who got in return bountiful change of story. Many were healed, others had financial breakthrough, some conceived after many years of barrenness and some had their debts cancelled, etc.
Testimonies abound of people who gave what they had to Christ and got quick turnaround in return. Are you now wondering how to trigger the words of Christ for a speedy turnaround? Look inwards and around you and you will see what to give for the kingdom of God. Allow the Holy Spirit to guide you.
A word of caution though – don’t give predominantly just for what you can get from God so that you don’t get nothing. Give because you love God and you want the kingdom work to prosper. All the people I cited earlier gave what they had without expecting anything in return. But because God is not unjust to forget their work and labor of love which they had shown toward His name, He released the words that brought about their desired change.
I see Christ releasing His words for your quick turnaround as you let Him use what you have today in Jesus name.
