Hi, Jesus loves you
What is that mountain before you that is posing insurmountable? What is that impossible case that has kept sleep away from you? No matter what the case may be, there is a higher force greater than it that is for you. By this higher power you can run through a troop and, if you need to, leap over a wall. This post tells you how to engage this mighty force for your victory.
For by You I can run against a troop, by my God I can leap over a wall – Psalm 18:29 (NKJV)
But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” – Matthew 19:26 (NKJV)
Is anything too hard or too wonderful for the Lord? At the appointed time, when the season [for her delivery] comes around, I will return to you and Sarah shall have borne a son – Genesis 18:14 (AMP)
God is the mighty force that you can’t ignore if you want to live a victorious life. No matter how thick a troop may be, with God you can run through it. And no matter how high a wall may be, with God you can leap over it, for there is nothing impossible or difficult for God. And if God is for you, no one can be against you – Romans 8:31
If God can cause a ninety-year old Sarah to conceive, carry the pregnancy for nine months and deliver safely (Genesis 21:1,2,7), there is nothing of His will that God cannot do for you. If He could part the sea so that the Israelites could walk on dry ground (Exodus 14:29), He will level any mountain before you.
But for you to keep enjoying God’s mighty power and strength, you need to have the following virtues:
- Fear of the lord – Psalm 25:12
The fear of God in you pulls God to teach you the way you should go to overcome any obstacle before you. David was a man who greatly feared God and he never lost a battle. He would always enquire from God for each battle and God would give him directions on what he should do at every point in time. So, David could run through troops and leap over walls because God helped him – Psalm 18:29.
- Integrity and uprightness – Psalm 25:21, Psalm 26:1
Integrity and uprightness will preserve you and cause God to help you when you are challenged in life. Job was a man of integrity and uprightness. The enemy came like a flood upon him, but these virtues sustained him and God enabled him to overcome at the end with double of everything that he lost – Job 42:12.
- Faith in God’s strength and shield – Psalm 28:7
When you make God your strength and shield, the Lord will greatly help you. Nothing can compete with God’s strength and when He is your shield, no one can overcome you. When the Israelites defeated the people of Moab, Ammon and Mount Seir, the fear of God came upon the nations around them- 2 Chronicles 20:29. This was because God was their shield and with His outstretched hands the children of God defeated their enemies.
- Trust in God – Psalm 28:7
Anybody who has trust in God provokes divine helps. Trust in God says “I believe in you God whether things are looking good or not”. Trust in God will always attract divine intervention on your behalf. Paul and Silas trusted God to the point that though they were in prison they were praising God. And truly, God showed up and loosed the chains and opened the prison doors – Acts 1:25-26
- Be anointed – Psalm 28:8, 1 Kings 18:46
God is the saving refuge of the anointed. He marks them as “touch-nots”. The anointed one can run through a troop and leap over the wall by the anointing of God upon him. Elijah outran a horse when the power of God came upon him so that he got to Jezreel before Ahab that was on a chariot – 1 Kings 18:46.
Jesus Christ also ran through a troop successfully. The people took up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them – John 8:59
God has not changed and will never change (Hebrews 13:8). What He did before He will still do today. Like David, you can run through a troop and leap over a wall by the help of God. No matter the mountain before you, with God you will overcome it. Remember, whatever is born of God overcomes the world – 1 John 5:4. Congratulations, your testimony is the next!
