How To Be Filled With All The Fullness Of God

Are you filled with all the fullness of God? Surely having the fullness of the Almighty is something to desire. This is because it will give you a better understanding of God and enable you to enjoy all His blessings. So, in this post, we will be looking at how to be filled with all the fullness of God.

For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,…that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God – Ephesians 3:14, 17-19 (NKJV).

Introduction

Many believing Christians desire to have more of God and to manifest His power and glory. Though this is the Lord’s desire too, many Christians are yet to actualize this in their lives. Is it that it’s difficult to attain? Not really. However, many people have not diligently sought God and so, don’t know much about Him. Truly, the Lord is more than we can imagine.

How to be filled with all the fullness of God

According to Ephesians 3:19, you can have the fullness of God by knowing the love of Christ, which passes knowledge. So, knowledge of Christ’s love for you which passes knowledge will fill you with all the fullness of God. The Lord doesn’t just love us, He is love.

The love of Christ is deep

This love is beyond your natural understanding. Otherwise, how do you explain Christ praying for those killing Him on the cross? Also, how do you explain Christ leaving His comfortable throne with all the power and authority to come and die the most shameful death? Such that the people He created mocked and humiliated Him. Yet, He went on to die on the cross for all. This is beyond human knowledge.

It passes knowledge

No matter, how much you know, if you don’t know the love of Christ, you can’t go far in your walk with God. This is because the love of God for man is what propels Him to do everything He does. That’s why the scripture says that walking in love is the fulfilment of the law. Hence, having knowledge without the love of Christ will keep you in the flesh and hinder you from walking according to the dictates of the Holy Spirit.

How to know the love of Christ

1. Recognize that the word of God and Christianity are all about Christ’s love for man.
2. Have a burning desire to know this love of Christ
3. Make Ephesians 3:14-19 a major daily prayer.
4. Study the word to gain revelation of Christ
5. Be ready to follow every prompting from the Holy Spirit.

Study the word of God with a desire to know the mystery of Christ. Certainly, God’s plans and purpose for man center on Christ. Remove Christ and there will be nothing else. Therefore, as you get filled with the love of Christ, so will you be filled with all the fullness of God.

Conclusion

Christianity is powerless and fruitless without the fullness of God. For God is all and in all, and the word of God revolves all around Christ. And for you to enjoy the power and blessedness of Christianity you must know the love of Christ that passes knowledge. For this is how to be filled with all the fullness of God.
