What Is The Power Of Resurrection?
The essence of our Christianity is centered on the risen LORD, Jesus Christ, who was raised by the resurrection power of God.
It is the power that defiled death and released Jesus from hell and it’s this power that will release all believers from the pangs of death unto eternal life.
Furthermore, the power of resurrection is what resurrects man from where the enemy put him, from shame and reproach unto glory and honour, from bondage of hell unto eternal freedom.
Ultimately, it’s the power that put the enemy in his place under Christ and exalted Christ above all, including the devil and his agents.
The Source Of The Resurrection Power
God, the Father, is the main source of the resurrection power which He vested on Christ. Truly, it is by this power that God, Almighty, released Jesus Christ from the hold of hell and death and lifted him into glory, at His right hand of power. Again Christ told us that He is the resurrection and the life.
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you – Romans 8:11
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this? – John 11:25-26
The Reality Of The Resurrection Power
This power is real because, firstly, when Christ rose from the dead He showed Himself to people with infallible proofs for forty years. Again, Paul strongly desired to know more about this power, showing that it was real and had significant impact on the life and destiny of those who believe.
To whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God. – Acts 1:3
That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death. – Philippians 3:10
This power is able to surge life to anything dying or dead, anything that is not at its best. This includes all manner of healings, spirit, soul and body; healing to businesses, relationships, careers, or families, etc.
So, God, through resurrection power restores all that the enemy tampered with through Christ Jesus.
Conclusion
The resurrection power of God didn’t just raise Christ and became dormant; rather it’s still available for us to recover all that is ours in the hand of the enemy. Therefore, exercise your faith in Christ and the resurrection power and receive all that is yours!
