Are you aware of the power that lies in your mouth? Some people understand and believe in this power of the tongue and are utilizing it well. On the other hand, some other people are victims of the words of their tongue. And the amazing thing is that the enemy cannot gainsay nor resist the words of certain people.

For I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist – Luke 21:15 (NKJV).

Stephen – And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the Spirit by which he spoke – Acts 6:10 (NKJV).

Introduction

Many believing Christians are not aware of what God has given them. Indeed, He has given us a mouth that the enemy cannot gainsay nor resist. And sometimes, those who know forget or lack the faith to utilize this blessing of the Lord. However, an understanding of this blessing will silence the enemy.

The Mouth That The Enemy Cannot Gainsay Nor Resist

This is a mouth that God gives to His children. And it’s a mouth that speaks God’s word, full of the wisdom of the Lord. Also, it’s a mouth that God is with; as such it speaks words that don’t attract accusations from the enemy. Hence, it’s a mouth that refrains from evil and speaks no deceit.

For “He who would love life and see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking deceit – I Peter 3:10 (NKJV).

Benefits Of Having This Mouth

1. The enemy cannot contradict your words.

When you’re talking, your adversaries will not be able to deny the truth of your words, and they can’t prove them wrong. So, they will certainly accept your words as the truth.

2. Your enemy cannot resist your words

He cannot hold out against your words. So, every word you declare against him will happen to him. This is because he cannot withstand the effect of your words against him.

Therefore, this mouth is both for defense and attack. So, with this mouth, you defend yourself from the attacks of the enemy. And you also attack him with it.

Examples Of Men That Used This Mouth In The Scriptures

Stephen

Stephen was a man full of the Spirit of God. And as he was teaching, some opposition arose against him. But the men could not resist the wisdom and the Spirit by which he spoke. This was because God was with his mouth by His Spirit that was within him.

Then there arose some from what is called the Synagogue of the Freedmen (Cyrenians, Alexandrians, and those from Cilicia and Asia), disputing with Stephen. And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the Spirit by which he spoke – Acts 6:9-10 (NKJV)

Daniel

This is another man, whose adversaries could not gainsay nor resist. They couldn’t find any fault in him. This is because, as James 3:2 says, he didn’t stumble in his words and, so was able to bridle his whole body.

So the governors and satraps sought to find some charge against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find no charge or fault, because he was faithful; nor was there any error or fault found in him – Daniel 6:4 (NKJV).

For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body – James 3:2 (NKJV).

Conclusion

You will surely have adversaries, known or unknown to you. But when God is with your mouth, you will always be above and ahead of them. And your enemy cannot gainsay nor resist your words. Therefore, ensure you have the mouth and the wisdom which the Father gives those who believe in Him.
