Calling In The Abundant Harvest

Hi, Jesus loves you

What do you do during harvest time?  You have planted and watered, and now it’s time to receive your abundant harvest. Is it a time to sleep or a time to continue working? This post says, “It is time to call in the harvest with the harvest tools available.”

He who gathers in summer is a wise son; He who sleeps in harvest is a son who causes shame – Proverbs 10:5 (NKJV)

So Ahab went up to eat and drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; then he bowed down on the ground, and put his face between his knees, and said to his servant, “Go up now, look toward the sea.”

So he went up and looked, and said, “There is nothing.” And seven times he said, “Go again.”

Then it came to pass the seventh time, that he said, “There is a cloud, as small as a man’s hand, rising out of the sea!” So he said, “Go up, say to Ahab, ‘Prepare your chariot, and go down before the rain stops you.’ ” -1 Kings 18:42- 44 (NKJV)

The beginning of a new year is always a time for preparing for a better year: a year full of success and blessings, a year void of pitfalls and regrets. Many people fast and pray for divine intervention, blessings, etc., all through the year. But the challenge is that after such spiritual exercises, some people go to sleep while waiting for their answered prayers.

No, it is not wisdom to sleep during harvest time! It is time to remain fervent in the spirit, calling in the abundant harvest, a time to violently receive your harvest of answered prayers: for the violent takes it by force, Matthew 11:12. Like Elijah remain on your knees till you receive your abundant returns. You don’t have to continue the days of fasting but the tempo of your prayers must not reduce.

So what harvest tools will you use at this time?

 1.       Your mouth.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, Proverbs 18:21. And you shall have whatsoever you say, Mark 11:23. Open your mouth and start calling in the abundant harvest, harvest of all you have asked God for. God has given you a mouth which your enemies cannot contradict or resist, so use it.

2.       The blood of Jesus

This is another important harvest tool for preserving and protecting your harvest from the thief and destroyer. Plead the blood of Jesus over your returns to prevent the enemy from having access to them, Exodus 12:27. For we overcome the enemy by the blood of Jesus, Revelations 12:11

3.       Help of the Angels

The Angels excel in strength (Psalm 103:20) and they listen for instructions from you to carry out, for they are ministering spirits sent forth to minister for you as a child of God, Hebrews 1:14. So, ask your Angels to go and gather in the abundant harvest.

4.       The wind of the Lord

Ask the wind of the Lord to blow in your harvest from wherever they are, just as they blew in the quails for the Israelites in the wilderness, Numbers 11:31

5.       Thanksgiving and praise

Lastly, this is another harvest tool for calling in your abundant returns. If you want to receive God’s blessing and increase, then you must engage this tool, Psalm 67:5-7. It provokes God to action anytime and anywhere.

6.       Soul winning

This will speed up your harvest because it is God’s passion. And when you seek first the things of the kingdom, every other thing will be added unto you. Furthermore, he who continually goes forth winning souls shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his harvest with him, Psalm 126:6. Indeed it is wisdom to win souls for Christ, Proverbs 11:30

In conclusion, harvest time is not a time to relax and do nothing. It’s the time to use the harvest tools made available by God to call in your abundant returns. Use them all in the name of Jesus with all diligence and fervency of the spirit, and you will be the next to share your testimony.
