Are you ready to answer the call to win souls as a way of life? My earlier posts gave the details on God’s heartbeat, which is soul winning. And now, I want to encourage you to take action and win souls for Christ.
What Action Will You Take?
What will you do with the knowledge of soul winning that you have acquired? The scripture says that you should be a doer of the word and not a hearer only (James 1:22).
But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves
– James 1:22 (NKJV).
And anyone who is not a doer is deceiving himself or herself. So, it is what you do with what you know that matters not just what you know. Therefore, God expects you to use the knowledge of soul winning you have acquired and draw men to Jesus.
Will You Obey Christ?
As a disciple of Christ, Jesus has instruction for you. This instruction is that you should go and make disciples of all nations. Also, you’re to teach them to observe all that He had commanded. And if you love God, you will obey His commandment. Furthermore, Christ expects His disciples to bring other people into the fold. And He said that He will be with you all through, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:19-20).
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.
– Matthew 28:19-20 (NKJV).
Some People Prayed
It’s not by coincidence that you’re reading this now, some people prayed that God should send labourers into His harvest as Jesus instructed (Luke 10:2).
Then He said to them, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.
– Luke 10:2 NKJV
This post is part of the answers to their prayers. And as you choose to heed to the call to action here, you will become one of the labourers that the Lord will be sending to His harvest. Truly, there will be joy in heaven if you choose to obey this instruction on soul winning.
Conclusion
A call to action is out here now, will you obey? While many Christians stop at hearing the call, Christ expects you to answer the call. Surely, to answer this call is one of the wisest decisions to take on earth. And God will not allow your labour of love to go in vain. For, He will abundantly bless you beyond your imagination. Therefore, become a soul winner for Christ today.
